On occasions, a dropper module inadvertently gets dropped itself. Yes, they usually bounce but a post-trauma check-over might be prudent. Sometimes cables are wrenched unceremoniously from their connectors. We designed them to separate cleanly at a specific force and shed the retaining ring so all should be well, but again, a test is advisable.
